About Lizzie
Lizzie Evans is a creative entrepreneur with a background in branding and interior and spatial design. Her first baby 'SMUG', the independent design store in North London that she set up at just 25 in 2009, has been described as 'an institution' and Lizzie as a 'trailblazer' in the world of independent design retail.
After over a decade of having a bricks and mortar store, Lizzie decided to close SMUG at the end of 2019, in order to focus on building a 'freedom business' that better supports her family's needs, as well as Lizzie's desire to spend more time coaching and designing.

Lizzie designs her own stationery and homeware products under the self started brand Lizzie for SMUG. She designs, records, writes and films from her north London Art Deco home which she shares with her husband Dan, toddler Constantin and fur baby (read Persian tortoiseshell cat) Mabel.
The Podcast
Lizzie's podcast ‘How to Curate Your Life – Work Life Balance for the Creative Entrepreneur’, launched in September of 2017 and has gathered a large following of like-minded creative entrepreneurs, trying to develop and nurture their careers, as well as striving for that all elusive work life balance.
